INFORMATION ABOUT OUR CHAPTER MEETINGS

Tidewater Stutter is a local chapter of the National Stuttering Association(NSA).  Our mission is to support people who stutter(PWS) by empowering them with self confidence and self acceptance.  Our meetings are a place where PWS can meet others who stutter and share their thoughts and experiences in a safe and secure environment.  It is a place where you as a stutterer can practice whatever speech techniques you feel comfortable with.  You can get knowledge about stuttering in general, different therapies, and network with therapists in and around the Hampton Roads area.

We currently are holding meetings the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month from 6pm-8pm.  The meetings are held at the Lions Child Study Center at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA 23529.  We are in room 246 upstairs.  Please get in contact with the chapter leader for the special NSA door code for the front door.
